Evening Prayers
As the day ends, we turn to God in thanksgiving and repentance, entrusting ourselves and those we love to His care through the night.
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Glory to Thee, our God, glory to Thee.
O Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth, Who art everywhere present and fillest all things, Treasury of good things and Giver of life: Come and dwell in us, and cleanse us of all impurity, and save our souls, O Good One.
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us. (3 times)
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
All-Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, cleanse us from our sins. Master, pardon our iniquities. Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities for Thy Name’s sake.
Lord, have mercy. (3 times)

Our Father, Who art in the heavens, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
Evening Prayer
O Lord our God, as we bow our heads before Thee at the end of this day, we thank Thee for all the blessings Thou hast given us. Forgive us any sins we have committed in thought, word, or deed. Grant us a peaceful night free from all evil, and send Thy guardian angel to protect us. Into Thy hands we commit our souls and bodies, and those of all our loved ones. For Thou art the God of mercy and salvation, and to Thee we ascribe glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Prayer for Forgiveness
O Lord, forgive me for the sins I have committed this day in knowledge or in ignorance, in word or in deed, in thought or in feeling. Cleanse me by Thy mercy and grant me a quiet and peaceful night, that rising again I may glorify Thy holy Name. Amen.
A Short Prayer Before Sleep
Into Thy hands, O Lord, I commit my soul and body this night. Bless me, protect me, and grant me peaceful sleep. Through the prayers of Thy Most Pure Mother and of all the saints, have mercy on me. Amen.
